Asking for support is one of the bravest things you can do….

Connect the Dots offers a counselling program with a difference.

We pride ourselves on integrating best practice, evidence based mental health interventions, with a range of creative and alternative therapies such as mindfulness, art, yoga, movement and more.

As no two people are the same, our counselling approach is personalised for each client and created in collaboration to fit your needs and interests.

We differ from more traditional counselling centres in that we don’t default to standardised treatment plans; not everyone wants 8 sessions of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy!

It is our hope to provide a counselling program that is healing, insightful, hopeful and will assist you in creating positive change for your life.

We are a small counselling centre that offers a personalised and empathic service, and works to be flexible in service delivery. Appointments are available face to face in our Oatley location, via Zoom or over the phone. We also offer appointments in the evening and on weekends.

We are able to support you in exploring a range of personal, social and emotional issues such as:

  • Mood disorders such as anxiety or depression
  • Pre and postnatal anxiety/depression
  • Stress and burnout
  • Career concerns
  • Relationship issues
  • Parenting adjustment or challenges
  • Grief and loss
  • Trauma
  • Self esteem and personal confidence

Our counsellor is a qualified and registered counsellor and social worker, who holds professional accreditation and receives ongoing supervision. For more information, please see Hannah’s bio.

Investment:

Initial appointment – $120 for 75 mins
Subsequent appointment – $100 for 60 mins
Evenings (appointments from 5pm/weekends – $120 for 60 mins

As we are a counselling practice and not a psychology service, our sessions are unfortunately not eligible for Medicare rebate.

To keep our fees affordable for our clients, our rates are the equivalent (often less!) of the standard gap payment for a psychologist.

This means you don’t need to see your GP for a referral or a mental health care plan to work with our counsellor. You can self refer – making the process easier and less time consuming.
